Second graders at Wayne Elementary completed their first science experiment. Our kiddos worked in teams to create these "crunch" (topographic) models to show how rivers flow, in order to answer the question, why do rivers flow to oceans? After their models were made, they created rain with a spray bottle to show the movement of the water. Their engagement, cooperation, and enthusiasm was contagious. Afterward, they wrote how their experiment helped them answer their question. It was a great success!
