Dear Wayne Elementary Parents,
I am writing to inform you about a foul odor detected in Wayne Elementary School this morning. The custodian quickly found the source of the smell from a sink in the fourth-grade classroom that was clogged over the weekend. We immediately took action to address the unpleasant odor and ensure the safety of our students.
The building was aired out, and the drain was cleaned by 8:15 am by our custodian. However, to ensure that the affected room continues to air out for the rest of the day, the fourth-grade class will use the library for the day.
We would like to express our gratitude for the quick response of all the staff members who worked diligently to address this issue and ensure our students have a safe and comfortable learning environment.
We understand that this may have caused some inconvenience, but please rest assured that we are doing everything possible to maintain a clean and healthy environment for our students. If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
