Maranacook Adult Education, working in collaboration with Central Maine Community College, the Career Center, Vocational Rehabilitation and Central and Western Maine Community Action succeed in granting 55 students free state class B licensing. Students selected to participate in the free training were selected based on greatest needs, with unemployed or underemployed individuals given highest priority.

Upon graduation from the training program, students are expected to obtain employment earning a livable wage within one month. To ensure students succeed with this goal, we maintain close working relationships with Augusta Fuel CompanyDead RiverWestern Maine TransportationPine State TradingLucas TreeWaste ManagementMaine Department of TransportationCrookerAugusta Public WorksHammond Lumber, and Auburn Concrete.
